Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

The short version

Use TrustTech services honestly, don’t do anything harmful, and we’ll deliver the best platform we can build. If something goes wrong, talk to us — we’re a small team and we’d rather fix problems than lose good customers.

The full terms are below. They’re written in plain language. Please read them.

1. Who we are

TrustTech Limited (“TrustTech”, “we”, “us”) is a New Zealand registered company based in Christchurch. We operate trusttech.nz and the SI Operations Manager platform.

Contact: matt@trusttech.nz

2. What these terms cover

These terms apply to your use of:

  • trusttech.nz (this website)
  • SI Operations Manager (app.trusttech.nz)
  • Any other services we provide under the TrustTech name

By using our services, you agree to these terms. If you’re using TrustTech on behalf of a business, you’re agreeing on behalf of that business.

3. Your account

You’re responsible for your account. Keep your password secure. Don’t share your account with others. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access (matt@trusttech.nz).

You must provide accurate information. Don’t create accounts using false information or someone else’s identity.

One account per person or organisation unless we’ve agreed otherwise.

4. Acceptable use

Use TrustTech for legitimate business purposes. Don’t:

  • Use the platform to store, process, or transmit illegal content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users’ accounts
  • Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or extract data at scale
  • Resell or sublicense access to the platform without our written agreement
  • Impersonate TrustTech or our team
  • Use the platform in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our services

The full details are in our Acceptable Use Policy.

5. Your data

Your data is yours. We don’t claim ownership of anything you put into TrustTech.

By using the service, you give us permission to store and process your data in order to deliver the service to you. That’s the only purpose.

When you delete your account, your data is deleted. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Our service

We aim to keep TrustTech reliable and available. We don’t make specific uptime guarantees for individual plans, but we treat outages seriously and communicate promptly when they happen.

We may change or improve features. We’ll give reasonable notice for significant changes. We won’t remove core functionality without giving you the opportunity to export your data first.

We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy. We’ll tell you why unless legally prevented from doing so.

7. Payments and subscriptions

Billing. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, depending on what you’ve selected. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Free trial. Where a free trial is offered, no payment is taken until the trial ends. You may cancel before the trial ends with no charge.

Cancellation. Cancel anytime from your account settings. You keep access until the end of your current billing period. We don’t offer partial-month refunds, but if something went wrong and you contact us, we’ll treat you fairly.

Price changes. We’ll give you at least 30 days notice of any price increase. Your rate stays the same until your next renewal after the notice period.

8. Intellectual property

Ours. The TrustTech platform, its design, code, and content are owned by TrustTech Limited. These terms don’t transfer any ownership to you.

Yours. Your business data, your content, your intellectual property. We don’t claim it.

Feedback. If you suggest an improvement and we build it, we own the implementation — but we’re grateful, and we’ll always build the best product we can for everyone.

9. Third-party integrations

TrustTech connects with third-party services (Google Calendar, accounting platforms, etc.) when you choose to enable them. Your use of those integrations is also governed by those providers’ terms. We’re not responsible for third-party services.

10. Limitation of liability

TrustTech is provided in good faith by a small team doing their best work. To the extent permitted by New Zealand law:

  • We’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
  • Our total liability to you for any claim won’t exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence — those protections always apply.

11. Disputes

If something goes wrong, email matt@trusttech.nz first. Most issues can be resolved with a direct conversation, and we’d rather do that than involve lawyers.

If a dispute can’t be resolved directly, it’s governed by New Zealand law and subject to the jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For significant changes, we’ll email you at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of TrustTech after that date means you accept the new terms.
