Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: March 2026

The principle

TrustTech is built to help businesses operate with more clarity, intelligence, and control. Use it for that. Don’t use it to cause harm.

This policy exists not because we assume bad intent — most people using TrustTech are business owners trying to do their jobs better. It exists because we want to be clear about the boundaries, so there’s no ambiguity if something goes wrong.

You may use TrustTech to:

  • Manage and analyse your own business data
  • Connect your business systems and surface operational intelligence
  • Use the AI features to support your own decision-making
  • Build integrations using the API (where available on your plan) for your own legitimate business purposes
  • Access the platform on behalf of a business you’re authorised to represent

Prohibited use

  • Don’t impersonate TrustTech, our team, or other users
  • Don’t share your account credentials with others
  • Don’t create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or free tier limits

Legal and ethical

  • Don’t use TrustTech to facilitate fraud, money laundering, or any illegal activity
  • Don’t use the AI features to generate harmful, deceptive, or illegal content
  • Don’t use the platform to harass, abuse, or harm other people

Consequences of violations

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy. For serious violations, we may do so immediately and without prior notice. For less serious issues, we’ll typically give you the opportunity to correct the problem first.

We’ll always tell you why your account was suspended unless legally prevented from doing so.

Reporting a violation

If you believe someone is misusing TrustTech, or if you discover a security vulnerability, email matt@trusttech.nz. Security reports are taken seriously and responded to promptly.

Changes

We may update this policy as the platform grows and new use cases emerge. We’ll notify you of significant changes.

Questions?

If you’re unsure whether a particular use is permitted, email matt@trusttech.nz before proceeding. We’d rather clarify upfront than deal with a problem later.
