Cookie Policy
No tricks. No hidden trackers. No excuses.
Last updated: April 2026
Our Approach
We use cookies sparingly. Essential cookies keep the platform working. Analytics cookies help us improve it — and you can turn those off. No advertising cookies. No cross-site tracking. No social media pixels.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember things — like whether you’re logged in — so you don’t have to start from scratch every visit.
Essential Cookies
These are required for TrustTech to function. Without them, you can’t log in or use the platform. They cannot be disabled.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Keeps you logged in | Until you log out or close your browser |
| CSRF token | Protects against cross-site request forgery | Session duration |
| Preferences | Remembers your display and notification settings | 1 year |
Analytics Cookies
These help us understand how the platform is used so we can improve it. They collect anonymised, aggregated data — we can’t identify you from it. You can disable these in your account settings.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Analytics session | Tracks page views and feature usage (anonymised) | 30 days |
What We Don’t Use
Never
- Advertising cookies — we don’t run ads
- Social media tracking pixels
- Cross-site tracking
- Third-party marketing cookies
Why Not
- Our business model is you paying for a service
- Not you being the product for someone else
- That’s it — there’s no catch
Managing Your Cookies
In your account settings. You can disable analytics cookies under Settings → Privacy.
In your browser. You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in.
Changes
If we add new cookies, we’ll update this policy and let you know. We won’t add advertising cookies — that’s not how we operate.
