Finally, a system that fits.

Every business already has a way it works. Most software asks you to change it.

I build the other kind — money tools for households and service businesses, course management for training providers — and I use all of it myself, in this business, before anyone else is asked to.

Who are you?

  • Your household

You and the people you live with. Where the money goes, and where the time goes with it.

Solvent, with Eli as your accountability coach.

  • Your client work

You invoice clients. Business and personal are tangled, and EOFY is a cleanup job.

Solvent for business, with Eli alongside it.

  • Your training organisation

You run courses, manage bookings, and your students can't get at their own certificates.

  • Your team

I stripped HR and wellbeing out of a platform that was trying to do too much. I'm working on this one in the open — there's nothing to buy yet.

Already know what you came for?

WHY THIS EXISTS

I kept buying software that solved most of the problem.

Eighty, ninety percent — then a workaround for the rest. A free trial with a padlock on the last thing I actually needed. A subscription priced for a company ten times my size.

So I started building instead. Every product here began as something this business needed and couldn’t buy.

What I won’t do

  1. I don’t sell your data.

Not aggregated, not anonymised, not to partners.

  2. I don’t charge you to fix what I broke.

I watched an ERP provider push an update, break a client’s system, and bill hours to repair it.

That is not a business model. It’s a toll.

  3. I don’t put a padlock on the thing you came for.

If money is the problem, the education is free — no card, no gate, no upgrade prompt.

  4. I won’t let you struggle through something because I couldn’t make it simple enough.

Solvent’s onboarding isn’t good enough yet. It’s being rebuilt. That’s on me, not on you.

Until it’s done: if you get stuck, email me and I’ll walk you through it myself. matt@trusttech.nz

What it looks like when it fits

Jason · training provider · client since April 2023

Jason paid for a booking system for eleven years. Four years ago he went looking for a replacement, and everyone wanted him to fit their system.

He has been my client since 2023 and is still on an active agreement. Last week I walked him through Mesh — the platform his business is migrating to. He was straight into the detail, asking when he could see the public feed and start fine-tuning his course templates.

A Solvent user

“More grown up with money.”

She put it differently to Jason: lighter about money now, more in control of her spending.

Same thing twice — someone stopped fitting themselves to a system.

Same company throughout, new name. The honest version: the first platform tried to be three products at once and solved none of them well. Narrowing it to one thing that works is the most useful thing I’ve done.

ONE PERSON, REACHABLE

If none of these fit, tell me what does.

You’ll get me, not a form queue. If I can’t help, I’ll say so and point you at whoever can.
